Sam Allardyce: 'Lack of goals to blame for West Ham United's poor form'

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce stresses that he will not make a decision over his future until the end of the season.

Sam Allardyce has reiterated once more than no decision will be made over his West Ham United future until the end of the season.

The 60-year-old is widely expected to step down in the summer when his current deal expires, with former Hammers player Slaven Bilic the latest to be linked with the Upton Park job.

However, Allardyce remains coy on his plans beyond the end of this month, telling reporters: "It was always going to be at the end of the season when the future was discussed, so there's no news on that."

West Ham have slipped down the Premier League table since the turn of the year, winning just three of their last 19 top-flight games.

"The lack of goals has been the big factor for us in recent weeks and what really brought it home for me was when we had 29 attempts at home to Burnley and only scored a penalty," Allardyce added of his team's recent woes in front of goal.

The East London outfit take on Everton this weekend in their penultimate game of the campaign.
