West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly not facing the immediate prospect of being sacked, despite losing all four of his Premier League matches in charge.

West Ham United's board reportedly have no plans to sack Manuel Pellegrini despite the club's pointless start to the new Premier League season.

The Hammers spent £100m on new players during the summer transfer window, but they are the only club yet to get off the mark in the 2018-19 campaign, having begun the season with four successive defeats.

Pellegrini has subsequently been installed as the second-favourite to be the first Premier League manager sacked this season, but The Mirror reports that the board are willing to give the former Manchester City boss time to turn things around.

Crystal Palace sacked Frank de Boer after four successive defeats at the start of last season and went on to finish in 11th place, but there are no signs that David Sullivan and David Gold are considering a similar course of action just yet.

West Ham take on Everton, Chelsea and Manchester United in their next three Premier League games after the international break, having already faced two of last season's top six this term.
