Levski Sofia sporting director Georgi Ivanov has revealed that striker Valeri Bojinov has travelled to England to open talks with an English side.
West Ham United have been linked with a move for the former Manchester City forward, and Ivanov has confirmed that he is powerless to prevent the 28-year-old from returning to the Premier League.
Ivanov told Bulgarian National Radio: "We had to let him go because we have an agreement. I allowed him to travel to England because I am contractually required to do so, but he remains a Levski player until he signs with another team."
Bojinov scored just once in 12 appearances during an injury-plagued spell at the Etihad Stadium.
