West Ham United boss David Moyes is reportedly considering a move for Hibernian midfielder John McGinn during the January transfer window.

Hibernian midfielder John McGinn has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for West Ham United.

Hammers boss David Moyes is known to be looking for additions during the January window, and the Scot is said to have already had a bid for Harry Arter rejected by Bournemouth.

However, according to The Sun, McGinn has been identified as a possible signing at the start of 2018 after impressing in the Scottish Premiership.

The 23-year-old has scored a total of three goals in 19 appearances for the Edinburgh-based outfit this season, with Neil Lennon's team sitting in fourth place in the standings.

McGinn has also won five caps for Scotland, the last of which came in the Tartan Army's friendly with the Netherlands in November.

The report claims that McGinn - who still has 18 months remaining on his contract - could cost in the region of £4m.
