West Ham United are considering the possibility of offloading their £15m record signing Andy Carroll in January, according to reports.
The 25-year-old has struggled with a series of injuries which have severely limited his playing time at The Boleyn Ground since arriving from Liverpool in 2012 and he has featured just 15 times since he made the move permanent last summer.
Sam Allardyce brought in Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia during the summer to boost his forward line and both have already opened their West Ham accounts in promising starts in London.
The fact that the duo have hit the ground running means that Allardyce is actively seeking to offload Carroll in January, according to the Daily Mail.
However, the Geordie's £85,000-a-week wages could prove a stumbling block for any prospective move.
Carroll recently dismissed claims that he has let West Ham fans down during his spell at the club.
