West Ham United make enquiries about a potential move for on-loan Juventus striker Moise Kean in the upcoming transfer window, according to a report.

West Ham United have made enquiries about a potential move for on-loan Juventus striker Moise Kean, according to a report.

The 22-year-old is midway through a two-year loan with the Turin side, with the deal containing an obligation to buy the striker on a permanent basis from parent club Everton if certain conditions are met.

Kean left Juventus to move to Everton for around £24m in 2019, but after struggling for regular game time in the Premier League, the Italian spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain, before returning to Turin last summer.

However, Tuttosport are reporting that the two-year loan could be cut short in the upcoming transfer window, with the Hammers said to be interested in acquiring the striker's signature.

West Ham boss David Moyes has been on the lookout for a centre forward to offer support to Michail Antonio over the past 12 months, having failed in bringing the likes of Benfica striker Darwin Nunez to the London stadium in the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, from a total of 29 Premier League appearances during the 2019-20 season at Goodison Park, Kean managed to start just six games, scoring two goals and registering two assists in total.

He has since featured in 31 Serie A appearances with Juventus during the current campaign, scoring five goals and registering one assist, although just 11 of these outings have been starts.
