Malky Mackay has revealed that Wigan Athletic will be without midfielder Emyr Huws for the rest of the season due to an ankle injury suffered in training.
Welsh youngster Huws, 21, made his 10th league start of the season against Ipswich Town last week, but was absent from the Wigan's matchday squad for today's defeat against league leaders Bournemouth.
Mackay revealed in his post-match press conference that Huws rolled his ankle in training and would be out for three to four months, which is likely to see him miss the remaining 17 games of the season.
The loss to the Cherries means that the Latics are still without a home victory under Mackay and have won just twice since August.
