Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez insists that the club will soon find their scoring touch in the Premier League.

Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has insisted that the club could soon hand out a beating in the Premier League.

Martinez has seen his side register just 23 goals in the league so far this season, and they suffered another shutout in their 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Spaniard, however, believes that it is only a matter of time before the Latics find their scoring touch.

"We have the ability to score. It is a matter of getting that feel-good factor and confidence. It is true that you need that first goal. The moment we get one, it could be a real feast," Martinez told reporters.

Wigan Athletic sit bottom of the Premier League table with 20 points.
