League One side MK Dons have completed the signing of Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Lee Nicholls on a two-year contract.
The 23-year-old progressed through the Latics' youth system and made 12 appearances during his time at the DW Stadium - two of those in the Europa League.
"I'm over the moon. There were a couple of clubs interested but I feel MK Dons are going in the right direction - it was a no-brainer for me," Nicholls told the Dons' official website.
"I wasn't really getting a chance at Wigan - I want to play games, so all I can do is work hard and really push for playing time."
MK Dons claimed that the deal was a free transfer, but the Latics announced that it was for an undisclosed fee.
