Steve Bruce is reportedly prepared to convince Wolverhampton Wanderers owner Steve Morgan to give him the job at Molineux.

Former Sunderland manager Steve Bruce is believed to have outlined a survival plan for Wolverhampton Wanderers in an attempt to secure the managerial vacancy.

The 51-year-old has been out of work since he was sacked by the Black Cats in November last year, but is targeting a return to the Premier League with Wolves.

It is believed that Bruce could be considered for the job opening if he presents a convincing case to Wolves owner Steve Morgan, according to the Daily Star.

Alan Curbishley is currently the favourite to replace dismissed coach Mick McCarthy, with ex-Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock having an outside chance of clinching the job at Molineux.
