Wolverhampton Wanderers are expected to move forward in their search for a new manager after owner Steve Morgan returned to Molineux last night.
The Wolves chief, who was until now understood to have been on a skiing break in the Alps, will meet with the club's chief executive to evaluate potential replacements over the next 48 hours.
Alan Curbishley and Steve Bruce have both been linked with the vacant managerial position, while former Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock has refused to rule himself out of the running despite being linked with Huddersfield Town.
Morgan admitted on Monday that the club are interested in Curbishley but insisted that there are several other candidates involved.
