Stephen Hunt claims that Wolves are desperate to stay in the Premier League.

Stephen Hunt has insisted that Wolves are willing to fight until the very end in the battle to stay in the Premier League.

Mick McCarthy's men moved two points clear of 18th-placed Wigan with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Arsenal on Tuesday.

The Republic of Ireland international praised his teammate's defensive display and believes that the side's determination will help gain the points they need to survive.

"Everyone is desperate to stay in this league," said the midfielder.

"You have to believe that you can get something anywhere in the Premier League if you defend right. You have to be brave with your blocks, there were bodies flying left right and centre in the box.

"You could see from the manager's reaction at the end of the game what it meant. We are a close unit and we have to be."

Wolves face fellow strugglers Bolton at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday.
