Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy has taken a sarcastic swipe at the club's supporters this afternoon.
Trailing Swansea City 2-0, a large number of those in attendance at Molineux jeered McCarthy's decision to replace Matt Jarivs and Adam Hammill with Adlene Guedioura and Nenad Milijas.
However, Wolves struck two late goals to halt a run of five straight defeats in the Premier League.
When asked whether his tactical decision changed the game in his side's favour, McCarthy told Sky Sports News: "The substitutions were hopeless, got that all wrong.
"I'm just very fortunate I'm stood here. I'm a really lucky man here today.
"You may sense a hint of sarcasm, there might be a little bit there."
The point has moved McCarthy's side up to 14th in the Premier League table.
