Alfred N'Diaye: 'I want to stay at Wolverhampton Wanderers'

On-loan Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Alfred N'Diaye expresses a desire to remain at Molineux after scoring the winning goal in the 2-1 win over Barnsley.

Midfielder Alfred N'Diaye has revealed that he wants to remain at Wolverhampton Wanderers past the end of this season.

Late on deadline day, Wolves announced the season-long loan signing of N'Diaye from Villarreal, and the Senegalese international has already made a contribution in the Championship after netting the winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Barnsley.

N'Diaye has been in and out of the side since his arrival in the West Midlands, but the former Hull City man has already decided that he would like to spend the next years of his career at Molineux.

"I hope, I hope. I came on September 1 and everyone has helped me at the club, everyone give me love in the city so I am very happy. I will give my best all the season to get into the Premier League and stay here," the 27-year-old told the Express & Star.

"I haven't come here for a few months. I am a Wolverhampton player and I'm focused on Wolverhampton. There is an agreement in place.

"I am on loan but I'm a Wolverhampton player. I don't think all season 'I'll go back to Villarreal', I don't think like this."

N'Diaye signed for Villarreal in July 2016 but made just two starts in La Liga before the Spanish club allowed the player to spend the second half of last season on loan at Hull.
