Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly entered the advanced stages of talks to sign Olympiacos goalkeeper Jose Sa, amid a likely exit for Rui Patricio.
Patricio is set to join Roma this summer for a fee in the region of £13m, and his replacement has already been lined up by Nuno Espirito Santo's successor Bruno Lage.
The 28-year-old kept 19 clean sheets in 44 appearances for the Greek champions, who had the best defence in the Super League 1 last season as they only conceded 13 times.
Birmingham Live reports that Sa is very comfortable with his distribution and his attributes could suggest a shift in Wolves' playing style for the upcoming campaign under new manager Lage.
Sa has two years left on his contract at Olympiacos, and it is believed that the two clubs have agreed a fee around £9m as talks enter the advanced stages.
Since arriving in Greece from Porto in 2018, initially on loan, Sa has gone on to keep 62 clean sheets in 124 outings for the club.
