Aleksandr Kerzhakov and Igor Denisov are dropped to the Zenit St. Petersburg reserves as rumours of a club rift continue to grow.

Usual Zenit St. Petersburg mainstays Aleksandr Kerzhakov and Igor Denisov have been placed in the Russian champions' reserves as rumours of rifts at the club grow.

Reports in Russia have said that coach Luciano Spalletti is unhappy with the attitude of a number of individuals after Zenit's 2-2 draw with Krylya Sovetov on Saturday.

It is said that the likes of Kerzhakov and Denisov are unhappy with the inflated wages being paid to summer signing Hulk.

Between them, Kerzhakov, 29, and national captain Denisov, 28, have made almost 500 appearances for Zenit.
