Michael Schumacher's 15-year-old son Mick was reportedly involved in a 100mph crash this weekend as he got to grips with his new F4 career.
The teenager was signed by Van Amersfoort Racing earlier this month and was practising on the Lausitzring speedway track in Brandenburg when the indecent occurred.
German newspaper Die Welt claims that the high-speed crash was not serious and that Schumacher junior was uninjured after his car skidded on the track and ended up on some surrounding gravel.
Seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael is still recovering from the head injuries sustained in his ski crash in December 2013, while on a holiday in the French Alps with Mick and other members of his family.
He is currently rehabilitating in his Geneva home, where a £10m treatment room is apparently being built to aid his progress after he was brought out of an induced coma in June of last year.
Mick Schumacher finished as runner-up in the world, European and German karting championships last season.
