Chubby Chandler has hinted that Lee Westwood could part company with putting coach Phil Kenyon following his Masters disappointment.
The 38-year-old finished two shots off the pace at Augusta despite taking 21 more putts than Phil Mickelson and eight more than eventual winner Bubba Watson.
Westwood teamed up with Kenyon last year in a bid to iron out his flaws on the green.
However, manager Chandler said that he is not sure how much difference Kenyon has made to Westwood's game.
"I don't know how much difference Kenyon's made. I don't think he's made any. Whether that stays the same or not, hmmm," questioned Chandler. "But Lee will keep working. To finish as close as he did while taking 21 more putts than Phil is staggering.
"I was surprised at how upbeat Lee was. He wasn't beating himself up because he knows he cannot play much better. He said he either keeps plugging away until his turn comes or gives up. And he is no a quitter.
"The funny thing was that he putted better the more pressure he was under. He made four birdies in the last six holes. That's encouraging."
Westwood hit more greens in regulation than any other player at the Masters.
