Former England star Tracey Neville urges more to take up netball

Former England netball star Tracey Neville encourages more people to get involved in the sport by joining a new initiative.

Manchester Thunder netball coach Tracey Neville is hoping to encourage others to take up the sport by getting involved in 'Get Back to Netball' sessions in her hometown of Bury.

The 37-year-old, who is the sister of former footballers Gary and Phil Neville, is an ambassador for Sport England's 'I Will If You Will' campaign.

"Whether it is about rediscovering sporting abilities you forgot you had or simply getting active again, netball is a great way to get your heart rate up and improve all-round fitness," the Bury Times quotes Neville as saying.

"With 'Back to Netball' and walking netball, a lower intensity session, there is something for all abilities. Let's give netball a shot."

Classes are provided every week to netball newcomers and those returning to the sport.
