Bournemouth midfielder Jordon Ibe has been robbed at knifepoint of a watch worth £25,000 after his car was rammed, according to reports.
The alleged robbery came four days after West Ham United striker Andy Carroll was reportedly threatened by gunmen as he drove to his home in Essex from the club's training ground.
According to The Sun, Ibe was driving home from a training session when his car was hit in Surrey Quays, South-East London.
He was then threatened with a knife by one of the assailants, who made off with his Rolex.
A Met Police spokesman said in a statement: "One of the suspects threatened the victim with a knife before stealing his watch. The victim was not injured."
Scotland Yard added that it was investigating whether the collision, at about 1.45pm on November 6, was deliberate.
