Everton duo Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman visit ill children at Whiston Hospital to give out Christmas gifts.

Everton duo Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman paid a visit to ill children at Whiston Hospital this week.

The Premier League stars spoke to a number of patients in the children's ward while donning Everton blue Christmas hats ahead of the festive holiday.

Baines and Coleman posed for photographs with the youngsters, as well as handing out gifts, including signed pictures by members of the Merseyside squad, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Baines, who was born in Kirkby, is currently out of action for the Toffees due to a broken toe.
