Man City injury, suspension news and return dates for Leicester City clash: Haaland, Rodri, Bobb latest

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with relegation-threatened Leicester City on Wednesday night.

Looking to claim three more points as they strive for a spot in the Champions League, Manchester City will host Leicester City at the Etihad on Wednesday night in the Premier League.

The Citizens returned from the international break with a trip to the South Coast on Sunday, when goals from Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush secured an FA Cup quarter-final success over Bournemouth.

After booking a semi-final battle against Nottingham Forest at Wembley at the end of April, Pep Guardiola's men must now turn their attentions to the visit of a relegation-threatened Leicester outfit in the top flight.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with the faltering Foxes.

Erling Haaland

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: April 2 (vs. Leicester)

Minutes after finding the net at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday, Haaland was forced off due to a knee injury, meaning that he is a doubt for Wednesday's match.

The Norwegian was seen leaving the ground wearing a protective boot and using crutches, with Guardiola unable to provide a definitive verdict on the striker's condition during the post-match press conference.

Rodri

Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: June 18 (vs. Wydad Casablanca)

Rodri has been sidelined since September with a serious cruciate ligament injury, but recently returned to training on the grass as he steps up his recovery.

Prior to the Bournemouth match, Man City boss Guardiola stated that he is hopeful that the Spaniard could feature for the Citizens at this summer's Club World Cup, a tournament which commences in the middle of June.
