Lamar Odom's college coach fears he "could commit suicide"

Lamar Odom's college coach Jim Harrick believes that the basketball player could be in danger of taking his own life.

The college coach of former Los Angeles Clippers star Lamar Odom fears that the basketball player could take his own life.

The 33-year-old has been plagued by alleged drug problems, which has put his NBA future in doubt, as well as his marriage to reality television star Khloe Kardashian.

While numerous reports continue to emerge regarding the current state of Odom, his college coach Jim Harrick believes that his issues could become too much to handle.

"The stories I hear frighten me tremendously," the Daily Mail quotes Odom as saying. "I fear for his health, his safety, I thought everything was under control, but clearly it wasn't. I fear for his life.

"I worry about him, as if he was my own son. I love the guy. No one should have to go through what he's had to. Now I fear the drug could kill him, or he could commit suicide. He's got too much to live for."

Recent reports have claimed that Odom is against spending time in a rehab facility in a bid to overcome his problems.
