Leicester City star Jamie Vardy has tipped James Corden to portray him in the upcoming film about his rise through the football ranks.
The 29-year-old's life is due to be adapted for the silver screen, detailing his progression from non-league footballer to Premier League champion.
In an interview with BBC Sport, Vardy confirmed that the "script is nearly finished" and admitted that he would like British comedian and US TV host Corden to play him.
"I think James Corden could do a good job," said Vardy. "Funny guy as well so I think he could make it very enjoyable."
Producer Adrian Butchart, who worked on the Goal! movie franchise, is believed to be behind the Vardy biopic.
