BT Sport have announced that they will air Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard's testimonial match live from Anfield.
The England skipper will be honoured at the home of the Reds on August 3 with a clash against Olympiacos, who the midfielder famously scored against in 2005 to push Liverpool through to the knockout phase of the Champions League, which they went on to win.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Steven Gerrard Foundation, which supports a host of children's charities around Merseyside and the UK.
"I am delighted that BT Sport will be showing my testimonial live and that this will help to raise more money for the important work of my foundation," said Gerrard.
Head of BT Sport Simon Green added: "We are thrilled to be kicking off our live football coverage on BT Sport with this testimonial for the England captain, who is one of the greatest current players in the game."
BT Sport's coverage will include the full match from kickoff at 12.45pm, as well as pre and post-match interviews with Gerrard.
