British cyclist Mark Cavendish has proposed to his girlfriend Peta Todd and has announced that they plan to marry in October.
The 27-year-old, who has seven-month-old daughter Delilah-Grace with the former glamour model, has claimed that the pair plan to tie the knot in London, despite currently living in Italy.
"I'd marry her tomorrow in a register office," Cavendish told The Sun. "For me it's about marrying the girl I love, I haven't got my head around all the details yet.
"All I know is we want our friends and family there, so we're going to do it in London because that's central to all of the people in our lives. We're planning to do it in October because that's the only time I can get clear of all my other commitments."
Meanwhile, Cavendish revealed today that he has been involved in a collision with a car while training on his bike.
