FIFA film 'United Passions' is lowest grossing of all time

FIFA film United Passions is the lowest grossing in US Box Office history after being pulled from cinemas having taken just $918 in ticket sales.

A drama based on football's governing body FIFA has been named the lowest grossing ever at the US Box Office.

United Passions, which stars Tim Roth as FIFA president Sepp Blatter, took just $918 (£579) in ticket sales before being pulled from cinemas by the film's distributors.

The movie, which cost £17m to produce, replaced 2012 vampire musical I Kissed A Vampire as the least successful at cinemas.

Reviewers have described the film as "hilariously ill-timed", "cinematic excrement" and "unintentional comedy gold".
