British singer Morrissey has accused David Beckham and his wife Victoria of craving attention from the paparazzi and has insisted that they need to be "flogged".
The former England captain and his ex-Spice Girl other half are regularly in the press and the ex-Real Madrid star has expanded his brand by creating fragrances, underwear lines and lending his name and face to a number of campaigns throughout the years.
The former Smiths frontman told Loaded magazine: "I'd have the Peckhams (Beckhams) dragged to the edge of the village and flogged because they are insufferable to anyone of intelligence, and they actively chase the paparazzi."
Meanwhile, Beckham, who left Los Angeles Galaxy last month, is believed to have received formal offers from 11 clubs.
