Former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba is reportedly embarking on a career in sports journalism after he was forced to retire last year.
The 25-year-old called time on his playing career after suffering a cardiac arrest on the pitch at White Hart Lane while playing for Bolton in an FA Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
Now, the ex-midfielder has joined Staffordshire University and is currently studying for his journalism qualifications, according to BBC Sport.
BBC North West Tonight have offered Muamba a work placement.
