Andy Murray's mother Judy decided against revealing her identity to a stranger who approached her in a spa.
The 53-year-old, who usually travels to watch her son on the ATP Tour, revealed the incident on Twitter.
She wrote: "Woman in spa: 'R u whassisnames mum?' Me: no I just look like her. Her : 'that's good. I can't stand her '. Too good. :)"
Murray witnessed her son become the first British man since Fred Perry 77 years ago to win the men's singles title at Wimbledon a matter of weeks ago.
