Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo spent some time away from his side's end-of-season preparations to attend a Rihanna concert.

The Portugal captain returned to his homeland to watch the Barbadian singer perform in Lisbon as part of her global tour.

During his evening, the 28-year-old managed to get backstage to meet Rihanna, who posed for a photo alongside the former Ballon d'Or winner for his official Facebook page.

Rihanna is the latest popstar to mingle with Ronaldo, who met British boyband One Direction last week.
