Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane insists that Cristiano Ronaldo will not be making the move away from the Bernabeu this summer.

Former Real Madrid midfielder Zinedine Zidane has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo is happy at the Bernabeu and will not be leaving in the summer.

The Portuguese forward's future has been the subject of increased speculation after he admitted he was unhappy earlier in the season.

The 28-year-old has been linked with moves to former club Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, though Zidane insists that will not be happening.

"Ronaldo is happy at Madrid," the ex-France international told L'Equipe.

"He is very important for the team and will not move to a different club next season."

Ronaldo is under contract at the Spanish giants until 2015.
