Saint-Etienne forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reportedly donned football boots worth £2,500 during his side's defeat to Lyon.
The 23-year-old is believed to have spent a large sum on the boots, which were covered in Swarovski crystals, for the match that ended in a 1-0 defeat to Saint-Etienne on Sunday.
It is believed that designers Orravan took around 50 hours to customise the Nike Vapors, which had Aubameyang's name and shirt number incorporated into the footwear, according to the Daily Mail.
It is believed that 4,000 crystals were used in the design.
