Stacey Flounders has revealed that there is no future in her relationship with former Sunderland midfielder Adam Johnson.
Twenty-eight-year-old Johnson is currently on trial at Bradford Crown Court having denied two counts of sexual activity with a child under the age of 16, but he has previously admitted to one count of the same charge and a further count of grooming.
It is alleged that the ex-England international took part in a sex act with the teenager in his parked car last January.
Johnson was in a relationship with Flounders - the mother of his daughter - at the time of the offences and she has attended court for much of the trial.
Taking to the witness stand this morning, when asked by Mr Pownall QC if she saw a future with Johnson, she replied: "Do you mean now? Not at the minute, I don't. No."
The trial, which is believed to be heading towards a conclusion, continues.
