The Real West Ham Fans Action Group has met with Hammers vice-chair Karren Brady ahead of a planned protest over the club's governance.

The supporters group, which is angered at the way West Ham has been run since the team's move to the London Stadium, raised concerns in the meeting about matters including stewarding and the change of the club badge.

Greg Smith, a member of the group, has said that he is "delighted" that Brady took time to consider the fans' stance on the issues.

"We were delighted to get the opportunity to meet the vice-chairman," Smith told reporters. "You have take your hats off, they didn't ignore us and try to rubbish us and were willing to listen to us. We presented our position and to be fair, some had different emphasis on what they wanted to put to Karren.

"Some more were around the financial and then there was ourselves with the gap between the promise and delivery but each point was valid to some extent so I wouldn't say anything was irrelevant.

"She listened. She summarised that some of the things we are interested in like heritage, the stadium fit for football, experience fit for fans, better access, stewarding, access for the disabled and others, will be listened to."

The planned protest could yet go ahead on March 10.
