Research has reportedly shown that it would cost someone on average around £450 to complete a World Cup sticker album.
The current Panini book holds 640 stickers with packets of six costing 50p each, which would make the total cost of filling the album £63.99.
However, according to the Daily Mail, two mathematicians in Switzerland have calculated that, allowing for duplicates, around 899 packets will need to be bought, which raises the total to £449.50.
The tournament in Brazil gets underway next week on June 12.
