Salford City Reds coach Phil Veivers has revealed his disappointment at Sean Gleeson's decision to sign for Hull KR next season.
The centre has agreed a three-year deal with Hull KR and Veivers has said that he is "disappointed" but that the club will have to replace the player.
"It is disappointing when any player decides he isn't staying. There is not a lot more I can say on the subject," Veivers told the Manchester Evening News.
"It simply means this is another player we must try to replace for next season."
Salford are one place below Hull KR in 10th in the Super League.
