Hull FC owner Adam Pearson has insisted that Joe Westerman is not for sale, despite reported interest from Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves.
Westerman, 25, had also been linked with a move to Salford Red Devils recently, with rumours suggesting that Hull were willing to let the loose forward go to free up transfer funds.
However, Pearson has spoken out to confirm that the England international will not be leaving the KC Stadium.
"We've had no approach from any club for Joe, and even if one did come at some point we would not entertain it at all because he's a big player for us," Pearson told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I can assure everyone Joe is going nowhere and he's very happy at Hull. There is not one bit of truth in any of the reports."
Westerman joined Hull in 2011 after three years with Castleford Tigers, where he scored 43 tries in 103 games.
