Jimmy Keinhorst agrees new Leeds Rhinos deal

Jimmy Keinhorst commits his future to the Leeds Rhinos by signing a new contract at the Headingley Stadium until 2018.

Leeds Rhinos have announced that second-rower Jimmy Keinhorst has signed a new contract with the Super League club.

The 25-year-old, who has made 33 senior appearances, has tied himself to the Headingley Stadium-based outfit until 2018.

As well as the fresh terms, it has also been confirmed that Keinhorst has had his standing within the squad enhanced from number 20 to 18.

"Jimmy thoroughly deserves his new deal and his elevation in the squad numbers as recognition of the work he has put in over the last few seasons," head coach Brian McDermott told the club's official website.

"I am sure he will continue to progress over the next few years and I am looking forward to working with him to help him achieve his potential."

Keinhorst supplied the crucial pass for Josh Walters to score the match-winning try during last month's Grand Final triumph over the Wigan Warriors.
