Warrington Wolves have closed the gap on Super League leaders Wigan Warriors to one point following a 30-10 win at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The hosts enjoyed a dream start as Ben Westwood touched down after only two minutes. Brett Hodgson then kicked over the first of five conversions to give his side a 6-0 lead.
They scored again just five minutes later thanks to Ben Harrison's try but Gareth Hock's score, converted by Josh Charnley, got the Warriors on the board.
Warrington had the final say of the half when Joel Monaghan touched down with six minutes to play to give them a 16-6 lead at half time.
It got better for the home side 15 minutes after then break courtesy of Stefan Ratchford's try, but Ian Thornley's score two minutes later set up a tense final 20 minutes.
However, the Wolves put the game to bed with 13 minutes remaining as Richie Myler went over to seal the win.
