Gloucester have held on to beat Irish side Connacht on the road in the Heineken Cup this afternoon.
Fly-half Freddie Burns fired Gloucester ahead through a pair of first-half penalties, before James Simpson-Daniel's try gave them an unanswered 11-point lead.
However, Niall O'Connor kicked Connacht back into contention after the half-hour mark by converting a Gavin Duffy score.
O'Connor added a penalty after the interval to reduce the deficit to one point, but the home side couldn't make it count. Burns added a penalty in the final ten minutes to put the result beyond doubt.
