Bath too strong for Leicester Tigers

Bath remain unbeaten in this season's LV= Cup following a 35-17 win over Leicester Tigers.

A dominant second-half performance from Bath Rugby has helped them to a 35-17 win over Leicester Tigers in the LV= Cup this evening.

Gavin Henson helped the visitors edge ahead in the first half, kicking three penalties to leave Bath one point in front at the break.

Second-half tries from Ollie Devoto and Carl Fearns allowed the away side to pull away early in the second half, opening up an 18-point lead for Bath.

The hosts fought hard to try to get back into contention, but were hindered when George Chuter was sent to the sin bin.

The result leaves Bath unbeaten in the competition this season.
