London Irish have won their first game in eight, beating Worcester Warriors 25-16 in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
Irish fullback Tom Homer put three points on the board for the visitors inside the first five minutes, before doubling his total with less than 10 minutes gone.
Andy Goode almost instantly fired back for the hosts to reduce the deficit to three.
With 20 minutes on the clock, center Joe Ansbro crossed over to add to his side's total. Homer's ensuing conversion gave the Irish a 10-point lead, before Goode once again cut three points from their advantage.
All the same, the hosts went into the half with their biggest lead of the afternoon after Homer added another five points to their total.
With an hour gone, Warriors wing Miles Benjamin scored the first points of the second half to close the gap to seven points.
However, opposite number Delon Armitage all but put the visitors out of reach with a late five, with Homer's conversion extending their lead to 14 points.
Matt Garvey scored a last-minute try for the hosts, but only reduced the deficit to nine.
