Adam Peaty has admitted that his gold-medal triumph in last night's 100m breaststroke final is yet to sink in.
The 19-year-old earned England's fourth gold of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games last night, and followed that up today by setting a new Games record in the 50m breaststroke.
When asked by Sports Mole if he's yet to come to terms with his success, Peaty said: "No, definitely not. I woke up this morning and was like 'did that really happen?'. I didn't get much sleep last night, but I just came back here and gave my best."
Peaty's time of 27 seconds in this morning's heat at Tollcross beat Cameron Van der Burgh's Delhi time of 27.18s.
