Great Britain's Charlie Maddock has qualified for the women's -49kg taekwondo quarter-final at the European Games in Baku.
She beat sixth seed Iryna Romoldanova of Ukraine by a score of 8-7.
After drawing the first round, Maddock created a three-point gap in the second. That was clawed back by Romoldanova as the pair went into the final round with seven points each.
Maddock scored the only point of the final round to secure her progress into the quarter-final, in which she will go up against Italy's Erica Nicoli this afternoon.
