World number 55 Olga Govortsova has battled back from one set down to overcome Pauline Parmentier in the first round of the Australian Open.
The Belorussian went behind as her opponent - ranked 10 places below her - took both of her break-point opportunities.
Govortsova struggled with her first serve, which totalled just 57% in the first set.
However, the 24-year-old steadied the ship in the second, despite her serve continuing to misfire.
She won 80% of points on her second serve to level the match and take it to a deciding set.
That is when Govortsova found her serve, reigning in 87% and making just one unforced error to seal her place in the next round.
