Great Britain draw Japan at home in 2016 Davis Cup opener

Great Britain will face Japan at home in their 2016 Davis Cup World Group opener after reaching the final for the first time since 1978 this year.

Davis Cup finalists Great Britain have been given a home draw against Japan in the first round of next year's edition of the tournament.

Led by world number three Andy Murray, GB ended a 37-year wait to be in the final last weekend and victory in November's final away at Belgium would secure the Cup for the first time since 1936.

World number six Kei Nishikori is their only player inside the top 100 of the world rankings.
