Andy Murray has beaten Eric Prodon to reach the second round of the French Open.
The Scot managed a 6-4 6-1 6-3 victory over the home qualifier in 1 hour 44 minutes of play.
Murray now goes on to face Italian Simone Bolelli in the next round later this week.
Speaking previously about his potential clash with Murray, Bolelli - ranked 126 - said: "He is always tough. He’s a great player. I will try to play aggressive and to step in on court first and press him."
Elsewhere, Rafael Nadal plays American John Isner later today.
