US Open champion Emma Raducanu has been nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award for 2021.
The 19-year-old stunned the world with her Grand Slam triumph at Flushing Meadows, ending a 44-year wait for a women's Grand Slam singles champion from Great Britain.
Raducanu has made as big a name for herself off the court as well as on it in 2021, and the teenager is unsurprisingly one of six nominees for this year's SPOTY award.
Prior to her US Open triumph, Raducanu made the last-16 at Wimbledon, and she will compete at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi later this week.
Diver Tom Daley, swimmer Adam Peaty, Paralympic cyclist Dame Sarah Storey, footballer Raheem Sterling and boxer Tyson Fury - despite his ongoing dispute with the BBC - are also up for the 2021 award.
Tennis players have won the SPOTY award six times since its inception, with Andy Murray winning it three times between 2013 and 2016.
