Kevin Anderson overcomes Matthew Ebden to set up a third-round clash with Denis Istomin at the Atlanta Open.

Kevin Anderson has come from behind to defeat Matthew Ebden in their second-round clash at the Atlanta Open.

The South African dropped the first set 9-7 in the tie-break but the Australian had ran out of steam by the end of the second set, which he lost 6-2.

The world number 21, who reached the fourth round at the Australian Open and Roland Garros this year, eased home 6-2 in the third set.

He will come up against Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin, who beat Lu Yen-Hsun 7-5 6-2.
